CZ52 Czech pistols....
« on: November 07, 2003, 01:16:56 PM »
Who here has one or two or three?  :-)
I have 3 in the Rearsenal black finish...all 3 dates of manufacture '52 '53 and '54.
Now I want to get all 3 years in original Gray phosphate finish.
I will probably get another black also and fix it up with all the makarov.com goodies.  8)

I just bought one 2 days ago at a gun show.  Not sure whether it would be considered black or gray. When it's oiled up real good, it looks black.  When the oil dries off of it (like it had when I bought it), it looks gray.  Go figure.  Mine is a '54, by the way.

More than likely black...gray will look gray oiled. Still nice guns. After Christmas, I am going to start on the 3 years in gray. Then 1 more black one to play with and get some doo dads from makarov.com...here are some places to look for stuff for you '52 and learn about it...have fun.
