If you are looking for rifled slugs (to be used in a smooth bore), Remington offers some.  Brenneke (I believe) still makes a slug that can be (according to them) used in a rifled or smoothbore barrel.

Or Lightfield makes a saboted slug (to the best of my knowledge), but you are looking @ $15.00 for 5......

I ordered 5 boxes of Federal smooth bore Foster slugs for a 16ga from Able Ammo in Huntsville, TX for $5.68 box. I get 3" groups @ 60yds with my old Browning Sweet 16. www.ableammo.com

I don't know what kind of test you have in mind ham7777 but if you're looking for best accuracy you really need to try out ever slug you can find. In 16 gauge that won't be many. In my Zastava 16 the old style Brennecke's shot best but in your gun it may be Remington or Federal.
The story of David & Goliath only demonstrates the superiority of ballistic projectiles over hand weapons, poor old Goliath never had a chance.
