How to tell if you raised your boy right!

This is how!

Just got of the phone with him.  He was in a stand in a little bit off a corn field on Thursday night.  Had 2 out in the field and a doe came by within the woods.  He shot at the doe and missed.  A bit latter a small buck  came into the field so he tried to grunt it in.  It came in a bit but hung up.  Then two small does came past the stand and he let them go.  Two more bucks  also then came into the field. Then suddenly most of the deer left!  Off to his right he spotted this guy and gave him a grunt.  He came right into his scent to about 8 yards offering no shots.  It was one of those noiseless still nights.  So he had to let the buck walk away a bit, behind a tree before he could draw.  The buck came out and a double lung shot took him out.  Nine points, 163 pounds dressed. 16" inside spread.
One happy kid!
