25 cal.ouestions?????

i traded for a rws 25 cal. air rifle,,,,,had a bsa scope and mounts......put on and sighted in a 10 feet....scope max out was 1 in. low 1 in.left.......put 3 shots in same hole......shot at 15 yards it shot about a inch higher than first three.....almost in same hole.........shot at 30 yards it went 4 inches higher than the other 3 at 15 yards,,,,,,,,,,,,,is this common?????????its the only scope i had loose so i put it on just to shoot....do these shoot that far off at differt ranges/??????....i know  i had 177 cal do this but not this far..............ill change scope when i get another...but whats the dael?????????????any help........thanks jb

I have had similar experiences with BSA scopes.
they do some strange things. What model RWS
did you get?

Dont forget the pellet trijectory is not straight . It rises as a burnner does . But I would think it would peak before 30 yards unless you are useing a very light pellet . My condor sighted in at 16 yards is dead on at 65 but 2 inchs high at 50 yards . .177 10.5 grain 1025 FPS .Marvin

it is a model 25 im shooting rws pellets they seam heavy........i not weigh any but im used to i77 and 22 cals,,,,,
