2010 Census

Ever wonder how "big brother" accumulates so much information about us.............the census is one of the major sources of information on the American public.  I agree with the comments of the commentator, when they come to my door I will be the one asking the questions, and only provide the number of persons living at my residency. Watch the video and you will agree.

You will surely want to take the few minutes to view this video. 10 years ago I told them there were two people in this house and our ages.  Nothing more.  They threatened me and I reminded them they were the ones to be jailed for violating the Constitution if they came to my door again.   The same will be my answers this time.  After viewing this video, I bet your answer will be the same.

What info are we required by law to give them? I've heard there are at least 8 pages. A census used to count heads, not pry into our private lives. What is the legal minimum we have to divulge??? POWDERMAN.

They mail out the census forms and if you return them no one will come to your door with questions. There are I believe ten questions on it to be answered. We've had other posts on this before and one of them had the full list of questions.

Only limited numbers of folks are asked more than the minimum info.

Yes that's the link I was talking about. Those ten questions are what will be on the survey mailed to almost everyone. If you return it via mail that's the last you'll hear from them. If you don't return it you'll get a personal visit and then more questions might be asked.

I think they chose some small percetage of folks to do a more in depth questionaire on. How that group is chosen I dunno.

In spite of what the guy in the video claims the Constitution is not the ONLY law of the land. All the other laws are supposed to be Constitutionally sound but the courts get to decide what laws passed by congress are and aren't and they support the added questions on the list of ten at least.

I don't like it anymore than anyone else but without a huge mass demostration involving millions of folks at a time ya ain't gonna stop it.

I remember my wife answering questions for the health dept while klinton was in office. They said it was a new questionaire from the federal govt. One question asked whether there were any guns in the house??? What kind and how many??? My wife told them it was none of their business. I guess I really don't trust osama. POWDERMAN.
