airguns for point shooting
« on: February 16, 2010, 01:09:35 AM »
I want to practice point shooting (aka instinctive shooting) with both pistol and rifle.  I'd like to get a couple of good, easy to use airguns to do that with.  Any reccomendations?

Daisy used to market their basic B-B gun in a Quick Skill kit modeled after the Army's old Quick Kill program.  The gun had no sights and was to be shot instinctively.  I've never tried it, but you were supposed to be able to hit another B-B tossed in the air with practice.  It is possible to modify a Daisy by placing a strip of wood between the sights so the sights were not usable and the strip acted like a shotgun ribbed barrel.
