I seen the doctor this morning and got the results from the test and biopsy, it wasn't good. I have adenocarcinoma lung cancer. This is normally curable with surgery, however, that is now out of the question since it has also attack the lymph nodes.

I see the cancer doctor Thursday and will be started on some form of radiation or chemotherapy. I don't have any information beyond that. I don't have any idea what the options are at this time, I will just have to play the hand I was dealt and hope for the best.

I will let you know more when I find out.

I am very saddened by this news. I hope there is a cure for this. All I can say in the way of hope is that I have several cancer survivors in my family and their stories sounded much like yours when it was first discovered. I take heart that the problem has been found and that now treatment may begin.

Prayers and best wishes to you. My own cancer was a large tumor in the colon but had also spread to Lymph nodes. The chemo administered knocked all those bad cells out as I recieved good numbers on my sixth month and one year check. I am due to have my 1-1/2yr check in March. The administration nurses and my fellow patients all made for a great support group as we were all like a family. This was like a God-send as courage and faith remained high.

ROCKBILLY. Mom will be 85 this summer. Docs thought she'd die over a year ago. She could only tolerate 1/2 of the treatments, + lots of prayers. She has cancer of the lymph nodes top to bottom, liver. lungs, bone marrow. The docs won't say she's in remission, the cancer is still there but it's doing nothing. She still plays piano for her church and gets around really well. Docs are well educated, but too many don't know how God works. More prayers coming your way. Charlie.

My wife and long time friend (37 years) Had her first round of Chemo last week, and the last few day's have been tough on her. She is better today, and not looking forward to the next round, but the Dr's assure us the chemo is needed, so with the Lords help she will get through it! So along with prayers for her winning this battle, I'll now add you to the prayer list.
