Set oven to 375 to 400
2 cups self rising flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 stick butter (or about the same amount of shortening)
Cut that all together with a pastry cutter, two knives, your fingers, your favorite method.
Add a handful or two of dried berries, raisins, bits of dried fruit and mix them in.
Add 1 cup yogurt (plain, vanilla, non-fat, low fat, full bore) and enough milk, usually about a half cup, to make a somewhat moist batter. I usually add a touch of vanilla and/or lemon extract too.
Drop by 1/3 cup or so (or 1/4 cup) onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
