adams county here. grew up in jay co. though. go to mongo for deer and switzerland for turkey. mostly hunt in adams, on in-laws property.

Well, I now live(or exist)in central PA... but I'm Hoosier born and bred... Raised just south of Terre Haute in Farmersburg, but last lived between Friendship and Milan... lucky to buy my lifetime hunting license way back in 86 and have been back to hunt every year since... that $300 was the best I ever spent... lots of deer and turkey for this old country boy...

Live outside of North Liberty on 30 acres. Hunt nearby on 1400+ acres. Lots of deer, turkeys, pheasants, and squirrels.

Morning

I'm about as far north & east you can go with out leaving the state. Fremont in Steuben Co. I have a freind who has some land I can hunt plus State land and lots of farm land as long as you permission. Not a good year, I was like the dog with a bone looking in the water. Dropped for a bigger one. I let a good doe go by for a bigger one. Did not happen. But a bad day of hunting is better than a good day at work.

Well, been on GBO for a long time, but my first visit/post here. I was born and raised in White Co., up in the northwest part of the state. I live near Lake Shafer/Freeman. I have hunte, trapped and fished, all my life. Anymore, its pretty much deer and squirrel hunting, with some fishing thrown in, in the summer.

Southwest part of Lawrence County here. Williams is the closest town to me, but Bedford is the closet recognizable town to me.

Walk out the back door a little ways and can find all the deer, turkey, squirrels, coyotes I want to hunt.

Now......Bullseye, do you know anything about any wild/feral hogs in your area? Several reports have been filed stating they are there in Lawrence Co.

I have heard the talk about the feral hogs around here but have never seen any. Most reports seem to say they are around the river, but so am I.

My neighbor claims he saw one about 2 years ago that came through the woods and was in his yard for a few minutes. He is a hunter and outdoorsman so I would tend to believe him but also would think that I would have seen them if there were many around.

I did see a Bobcat during ML season this year. We have seen 3 or 4 of them over the last 5 years or so. It is cool to see them since you do not see them very often.

I do not use trail cams but my neighbor has 5 or 6 out. They have never picked up a hog.

Yea around about 1.5 miles from Hardy. I go to Crosley shooting range about every 2 weeks, its a great place to go but I am looking for some place to do a little further shooting.
