I'd say it's kind of a toss-up between nutmeg or natural lam.

I'm toying with the idea of getting a natural stock from
Boyd's and a forearm from Brownell's and do a restain to match'em.
Since the stock shows as unfinished, the staining will be minimum effort, just
fininsh it off with a matte spray sealer.
I have a nice cabernet stain that I used when I refinished one of my AK's.
This could fall into the Stimpy color scheme in FAQ's.
