Hi Highway,

The Pro is a very nice M60 with fancy scallops, nite sites and a very fancy wood grip.   I was looking at one myownself...except next to it was a standard, 3" m60 with adj. sites and the fancy wood grip from a Pro and a price that was about $80 cheaper.  Seems the dealer traded the wood grip on the Pro for the rubber grip on the standard M60 for someone.    I've had at least 5 or 6 M60s in my life, one was a very classy Jack Weigand custom executive package and another was a special run for John Jovino Wholesale called the NY Stakeout package....wish I'd kept them both.....the Pro seems to incorporate parts of each of these customs AND is in .357!!!  I think the Pro is well worth the money if you like it.

I have a 60 Pro. I really like it. I am waiting for the new 3" 63 to show up this April as a companion piece. I like having matching .22s and big bores. I practice with the .22s a lot and then shoot the big bores a little to keep in trim.

I've got a 3" model 60-15 Pro Series and it has an awful trigger.  Double action pull must be way over ten pounds and the single action trigger is full of creep and doesn't break cleanly.  I am going to have to have a trigger job for sure.  Never had this happen with a S&W before.

Have someone who knows what he is doing work on it. J frames, due to different mechanisms, are tougher to get a nice trigger on, than a K, L or N frame, but you can get pretty close. My 60 Pro has a very nice trigger.
