What did you get this hunting season?

 :) Howdy! Well, the hunting season is winding down in Arkansas.  What all did you get this hunting season?  Anyone get a black bear?  Just curious!  I did not get to hunt in Arkansas this year, but I might this next season.  Deer, rabbits, squirrel, turkey, etc.  Your list appreciated.  Always, Gene

Got a canvasback and quite a few ducks.  My first canvasback.   Didn't deer hunt much here in AR this yr.  Got a 5x5 bull elk in CO and a buck and doe antelope in WY.   That filled my freeezer so I really didn't have room for a deer.  Dove hunted two days and got a limit both days.  I hope no one pipes up and says they got a big gobbler here in AR this fall.  I got back from out west and didn't hear about the turkey season being closed until I had already been bow hunting a couple of days.  If I was a better bow shot I might have broken the law.  ::)

Three or four squirrels, 3 or 4 coyotes, and a lot of continous rain.

 ::)  I got cold, wet, and used to the idea that my dogs don't / won't hunt.  the Beagle will go brain dead when something gets in his nose and not come back, the Chocolate Lab will follow him to keep him out of trouble.  They were out for an entire week this fall.  They were however, glad to see me - eventually.  I guess they missed the food bowl and the couch.

I spent a week vacuuming up ticks.

I got a yearling doe this fall.  Not very big but it was the first time I've ever hunted so I'm happy.  Unfortunately, I ate all of the meat already. :(

I got a young doe, and missed a nicebuck with my bow. I wanted to do some late season bowhunting (more than I did), but got a short notice deployment. The good thing, I will be home about 40 days before Bow season if every thing goes well.

Missed a sweet 8 point buck with the oldsmoke pole ( long story) , didnt get to hunt as much as usual due to work being non-existent in my area up until recently, But did manage to catch a couple does by surprise on the four wheeler heading to the stand . Long story short they messed up and stopped about 90 yards out and the 444 put meat on the table.

I got a button during muzzleloader :D and squat during modern gun. >:(

 Got a nice doe 15 mins. after season opened for muzzleloading.
Shot a 14in. 8 pt. 1st monday of modern gun.
I've seen more deer this year than I ever rememberd.

Oh, I hunt in Montgomery Co.
