dating a model 74 rimfire

Is there a source for finding the mfg date of a winchester model 74 rimfire semi auto? I have one that's ancient, but I would love to find the date.

From WINCHESTER Dates of Manufacture 1894 to 1984 by GEORGE MADIS.

thanks! if my memory serves me correctly, the first three of the serial are 303, meaning around 1952/ 53?
