Why do you think our government would want to dis arm us? Do you really think it could happen? I don't think it could happen in my life time I am 43 years old. They may out law some AR weapons in the near future. Ok so what do you think? Dale

so  we will be indistinguishable  from other countries

easier  to be  told  to get  inline  with  the rest of the world

hitler  disarmed the jews  ..it  didn't go well for them
our  ancesters dis armed  the  indians....didn't go well for them
on
and on
etc

the british  tried to disarm  our ancesters....didn't go well for the british

it would help  to know  why they want to disarm  us
but  it doesn't matter.....it will not  go well for us if they succeed

i can  assure  you  this
when  they  say  it  is  for  our  own  good...to protect the children....play  on  folks  fears

they  are just fishing for  allies to  unknowingly  support  their hidden agenda
when drugs are outlawed only out laws will have drugs
DO WHAT EVER IT TAKES TO STOP A DEMOCRAT
OBAMACARE....the biggest tax hike in the  history of mankind
free choice and equality  can't co-exist
AFTER THE LIBYAN COVER-UP... remind any  democrat voters ''they sat and  watched them die''...they  told help to ''stand down''

many statements made here are fiction and are for entertainment purposes only and are in no way to be construed as a description of actual events.

Were stupid, remember? We the people can't be trusted and we need the government to take care of us. That's why disarmament is for our own safety, for the good of the children!

But it will be slow ... more restrictions, more taxes, a few businesses forced out. The only place you'll be allowed to fire them will be expensive and heavily regulated clubs, which few will have the patience to keep going. Hunters won't see it first since they won't go for bolts, levers, pumps or break actions. Eventually you'll have your single hunting piece broken down and secured in an approved container seperate from your rationed ammo, also secured in a seperate container. Apathy will kick in and like the uk your grandkids will line up at the smelter with the webley you carried for Queen and country. Hawaii ain't far from that now folks.

If you let it that is ...

It's all about control! It will happen. I think we as a nation are so feminized, there's not enough of people like us to prevent it.

Look at the so called sitcoms on the tube.....If you can stand to look at them.
When is the last time you saw a real man portrayed on them. Nothing but a bunch of shrill voiced prissy acting girlie boys these day's.

When they do have an actor that resembles a man, he plays the roll of a fat lazy, but lovable buffoon, while his attractive all knowing wife loves him in spite of his failings. The sad thing is..........most of the young men I see today act just like them.

I think when our generation is gone, the country that we knew, and grew up in will be history.Hope I'm wrong :(

they did a lot in 1968- according to what I've read (I'm 25, so I don't REALLY know what it was like to buy a gun as a 16yr old  or open carry or buy through the mail, etcetera), and before that it was only full auto weapons and true machine guns

if they can nab semi auto then revolvers, pump and lever will be the new "ASSAULT" weapons to go after, then a handi-rifle will be an assault weapon..... remember the UN building in new york has a REVOLVER being twisted up on display, a statue actually.  that's the artistic expression of destroying even sub-optimal handguns for the MIGHT of the UN with it's crushing, fascist GRASP.  I don't know or feel that I know, that it will ever actually happen in AMERICA, though I'm not too sure this nation will survive my lifetime (guns might live on until the nation falls apart but how soon is THAT going to happen, maybe real soon, maybe another twenty years?).

the best question is why do they want to go after people that believe in god, have military service, have third party and libertarian views especially?!  because religious people won't forgo ethics and decency in the name of the state, vets will not only recognize the divide and conquer but organize and fight it better, and the educated and motivated politically aware will have opinions and preach them- something lemmings aren't supposed to do.  the UN wants to try something big, maybe destabilize america and step-up china to the number one spot, maybe crash america and make it dependent on china due to all the debt and inflation?  that's my guess.

First you have to identify who "they" are.  It most certainly isn't the government in general; it is the liberal, socialist ideologists who know what's best for all of us.  They just want to make our lives safe and sane.  They have all evolved to a higher form of humanity and it is only natural that they cannot trust those of us who are of a subspecies with instruments of destruction.  Would you trust a monkey with a loaded weapon?  "They" have only contempt for us and we're lucky that they allow us to breath their air and drink their water.  So be grateful for the fact that they only want to ban guns and not us.

NW HUNTER. Right on the money. The boob tube is a big contributor to the feminizing and weakening of America. They push PC all the time. An unarmed society is fair game for anything they want, thats the goal, total control. POWDERMAN.

i agree with what you say is on tv, that's why i stick to the history channel and discovery, i hope the rest of your statement is not true, there are over 35,000 members on this one sight. it won't happen, but if 35,000 people went to washington and demanded change, something would happen. and like i've said before if the nra serves no other purpose it at least shows the politicians that there are over 4 million americans that own guns and are willing to join an organization to protect their rights. that said, i think the librals are poking at a sleeping giant (us) and hopfully that giant (again,us or we) will wake up before it is to late.

I see the same thing. What is happening to the men in this country? They are watching soap operas, they are getting hair perms, face lifts, butt and tummy tucks, and eating tofu. They are carrying purses(not to conceal their gun), They are staying home and doing house work while Mom goes to work. They are getting turned into women, and pansy's. Who will be left to fight for our rights to own firearms?  These cake eaters? I kind of doubt it.

Hunter, I don't think you are wrong in your last statement.

The Bible tells us clearly that Christians aren't judged.

In order to be Jesus' brethern you'd have to be a Christian.  Being an anti-Semite probably won't play well at the Great White Throne though.

I haven't judged anyone and my opinion wouldn't matter anyway.  They judge themselves.

If a person isn't accountable to himself he is not accountable to anything or anyone. His belief sets the rules but he preforms the life/liveing. If the life is a constant request for forgiveness the person is accountable to no one especially to himself. His religion isn't working. Will a missed request for forgiveness result in damnation? What chance does this person for eternity?  eddiegjr

Why do you think our government would want to dis arm us? Do you really think it could happen? I don't think it could happen in my life time I am 43 years old. They may out law some AR weapons in the near future. Ok so what do you think? Dale

Why...because we would be easier to control.  Could it happen...yes under many different scenarios.  Yes Dale it will happen or at least there will be an honest effort in your lifetime.  What do I think....pray often, prepare for the worst, and keep your family close!
