Husqvarna Mausers

Went to one of the big box stores that sell guns, etc. They must have a funnel for commercial Huskies in 8 and 9.3 X 57. They had about 25 of them sitting on the used rack. They had both 98's and 96"s,with the eights on the 98 action and 9.3 on the 96 action. Prices were not too bad. This was in Arizona, so you might want to check your local store if you have one.

 Thanks for the tip, Mauser98us,

Even though I've got too many calibers, I've always had an interest in a fine, old looking Mauser in 9.3x57, or 9x57. What big box store should I be checking into, and what were the prices like?

I've seen some of these in Shotgun news at a realy good price.
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

I purchased  Husky Mauser 98 in 8mm from SARCO a few years back and it is old world European style, grace and quality.

To be honest, it was simply a Swedish made 98 in 8mm - the quality is better than any of the other Mausers out there, including my VZ24 but before she got tricked out she was no different than any of my other 8mm Mausers.  Now however, she sports a Bold Trigger with safety, the wing safety has been removed and a new bolt sleeve installed, the action has been drilled and tapped and scope added, and the action has been bedded.  She groups 3 rounds in the same hole at 100m and looks and feels like a classic European rifle.  I am very pleased with this rifle.

If they have 98s in the 9.3x57 you would have a real winner although the 96 should be strong enough I prefer the 98 action.
