I just bought a nikon buckmaster 4.5-14 for a rem. 700 vtr (24" unported) it has turned out to be a real shooter. I've been thinking about getting a sunshade for the scope (I know they look very retarded on the new buckmasters) do to the sun being above the targets in the afternoon at my range. My question is what is the best length of sunshade to get 2, 3 , 4 inches I've never used one, basically how long will be enough and how long is just going to be a waste or redundant? Any help would be great, thanks.
