I believe a person is never to old to learn something and I'm sure there is a wealth of info here. I enjoy handgun  , muzzleloading , rifle and shotgun shooting and hunting. I'm the 4-H muzzleloading director for our county and enjoy working with our 4-H kids. I have two sons that shot on my junior team last year here in Colorado and they won first in state in the traditional muzzleloading class and my 12 year old took first in the unlimited class. Needless to say they shoot better than I do. Anyway thanks for the invite...bull

Welcome from southeast Colorado.  you will like it here. My son is in his first year in 4-H doing shotgun sports.

That shotgunnin is getting expensive anymore with all the practices in 4-H. My oldest shot it his second year and really didn't like it as much as muzzleloading...bull

See if a local rod and gun club is involved with SCTP ( The schoolastic clay target program) shells are provided at practice and meets the only cost is joining the national trap association and whatever it costs to go to the meets. The first year my son shot his novice squad went to the nationals in Vandalia Ohio, and they placed 11th in the world and he's only gotten better.
