Looking for some help in choosing a good factory ammo for a Steyr 7mm-08.. Hunting whitetail deer.. any help would be appreciated.. Thanks

I reload but any of the Remington Loads would be good out to 250-300 yards. Hornady Ligth Mag would be another option.

I have a steyr forester 7-08.which groups well under a inch with light magnums you might also try winchester supreme ballistic tip they group exceptionally well in my sons steyr......which is a 270 but i have been so pleased with the light magnums i haven't took the time to try the the winchesters.The light magnums take up to 280 territory.you might go to there web site and see the tables and compare it with a standard 270, 25-06, or243 and see how they compare. the company says 3000 fps with a 140 gr. bullet.just my 2 cents...good luck....
