357 barrel on sb1, where to order?
« on: February 26, 2010, 07:36:32 PM »
Ok, I read in a recent post that you can have a 357 or a 44 mag barrel fitted to the sb1 frame. I was thinking a 357 mounted to my 12 gauge frame would be a good gun for my 12 year old daughter to hunt with this year. Anyways, went over to th HR 1871 barrel acc. program page and there list says nothing about it. Only shot guns get shotgun barrels. So how do I go about this?

They haven't updated the accessory barrel page to include those two barrels, but it's a moot point right now, they won't have any barrels until March or April, follow the instructions on the accessory barrel page.

Well, that makes sense. Thanks for the info, because I was confused.  What is the reasoning for no barrels being sold right now do you know?

They don't have any in stock, Marlin hasn't made any since last year.
