New hog spot is mudhole H#((

But there is so much hog sign it is crazy! Going out today to set out hog toys and decide where to put stands. Have rubber boots and pistol ready.  It is all very thick brush and a machete will have to be used a lot just to make the trails tall enough to walk thru. Lots of work ahead.

Be careful, once surprised a hog in a mud hole.  I was able to swing up into a tree, the guy behind me was not so fortunate.  Hog hit him hard knocking him down, and kept shoving him around with it's snout.  I finally got a clear shot and stopped it, without hitting him.  Over thirty stitches in legs and arms to close him back up.

My scouting gun is a 12 gauge pump filled with slugs. I definitly have respect for them.
