One of the few guys to accurately predict stock trends, including the 1987 crash, current depression, etc. Dr. Marc Faber, has told a group of billionaire investors to Buy gold, farmland, and prepare for a dirty war. America is going bankrupt.

Hmmm, I have the farmland.  I've also invested in precious metals: lead, brass, Ruger, Marlin, Colt.....

Have you seen gold prices? Gold is UP. Farmland is probably an OK buy, but what are you going to do with it unless you are running a farm? In my area, historically farms, stuff was broken up into residential parcels in the last decade. Mostly because land went from $1k/acre to 10x that.

I've been buying gold for many years and it was always UP, when it was 2-300 bucks an oz it was real expensive in that time frame and every time i bought any it was expensive. I do not look for it to get any cheaper in value for dollar.

Don't you see all these guys on TV selling gold? They bought it cheap a year ago or so and want to make a killing on it. Yes the country is broke and Obama will do the same thing that was done the last time the country was broke. Roosevelt called all the gold in and paid a few pennies on the dollar for it. Obama will call it in to keep complete control of us. Land would be alright if you pay cash and then can pay the taxes on it.

When and if it really happens then men will go back to 1-water , 2-food ,3-shelter and 4-protection . Later will come 5-organized community and last 6-conquest . It would seem tools and weapons would be held in high regard in such times . Gold and silver ?
