OK who has him? I miss his posts and insight!

He changed his screen name to n/a. But he has been missing afew days at that name too.
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

Me too. Being a personal friend I do have his full contact info and called him to ask. His comments limited as they were mostly said he is done posting and is now only using the internet to search for info.

What that means I have no clue but I'd not look for him back any time soon. Hopefully things will change and he will again return but for now he's not among us any longer. He knows his way back and knows how to reach me if he needs assistance.

Since I do consider him a friend as we've been corresponding now for close to 13 years if not that long I will respect his wishes to not post and hope he changes his mind at some point and returns.

I made the same post within the last three to four years when Questor took a leave of 30 to 40days. I hope to see him back as he is probably 50% of the reason that I stop here @ the pot belly.

Could be slim, could be. I ran the free AVG antivirus for several years then went with the Norton Internet Security 2009 and renewed that to Norton Internet Security 2010 within the last week.

I cant really say enough good about this anti-V + smart, user friendly firewall. It catches a lot of Trojans but I have also had it tell me that someone was trying to scan my ports with the attempt blocked.

It varifies most sites as being safe even before going to them but will place a ? mark on others.

Damages were $60 per year (a lot of powder n ball) but I figure that it is worth it. Live updates are now measured by the minuet or less and there is no strain on my system resources.

Run Linux as a non-super user.  I guarantee you you won't get affected by a virus.  It is much less targeted by virus writers, but the code itself as well as the security model is just laid out in an inherently more secure manner compared to Windows.
