grip and forend questions

I'm just about ready to order a custom grip and forend set for my encore. Has anyone had any experience with Tony's forends and grips or highplanes forends and grips? If so, let me know what you think. I like the looks of tony's forends and the concept of the inletting. It's design makes the barrel kind of floated. he also makes them with some cool looking air vents.
 However I like the looks of the hammer style grip that is offered by the highplane's grips better. There website says that the palm swell is kind of eggressive. will this have an effect on a secure hand grip?
Let me know what you guys think.

I have a set of HP for my G2 and love them and they feel good,my complaint on his grips is that he did not give me what I ordered as far as the forend was concerned. well made and great fit though. cost too much to return and also he says 3 weeks but was almost 5 so that is also something to think about.

I have Georgia Jim make me all of my Encore grips and forends.  His work is exceptional and the only drawback if you can call it that is you have to use a Stratton hanger bar.  His prices are similar to Tony's and I usually order mine unfinished as it saves me a little coin and I can (though never needed to) sand/file it to fit my hand.  Jims unfinished just need a quick swipe with 320 grit and then a shot of Poly U or oil.

I believe that GJ shut down his website, but he is still making grips, I have a set of his and I also have a set of Tony G's grips.  I like both, G.J. grips are very nice but not a true custom sized to your hand, you would have to shape it a little like I did if your hands are small.  Tony G will ask you for a couple of measurments and will make the grip for your hand at a very reasonable price.

Also, there's Dave D. on this forum that makes very nice grips also.  Dave's grips are also true custom grips.  Give Dave a PM, I'm sure he'll send you a few pics of his work, or you can do a search on here.  I know he's posted a few pics.

Look at my avatar, that's a set from Tony's. Nice walnut and tight fitting. He'll work with you and make almost anything you want. I'd use him again.
The grip may look funny but that's because I have small hands.
