Finally going to do it

Well I'm finally gonna go shoot the 357 handi I got last saturday.I put a 4x shotgun scope on it,was going to put a bushnell red dot on it but my son said he didn't want a red dot on it(I think he plans on claiming it once it's sighted in).If i can get a 2" group at 75 yards I will be happy if it does better than that will be a bounus.

 Congrats on the new gun(for now) I think you are right. Sounds like your son is getting a new gun :D My boy did that to me with the .44. Got the .357 and he sees it as a smaller bullet(not interrested YET) ;)
 2" at 75 yards should be pretty easy. Most shoot good out of the box.

Mine just turned into a Maximum. Will be shooting it this weekend also.

My boy claimed my Marlin 1894C recently even after I bought him a Handi in 30-30. If I can keep the spark alive for future generations it's all good!  8) The only thing I don't need to worry about losing is my 458 Win Mag cause Jr. doesn't want any part of that beast yet...................  ;D

All 7 of my kids are shooters, and I'm leaving them my "toys" after I'm done with em.  I keep telling my wife that and she lets me bring more in whenever I want. :-*  Yes, I am blessed. ;)  I'd like to go shoot this weekend, but Doug, canon6, said it was pretty bad at the range.  Not sure the ol' mouth is up to much recoil after havin mouth work done. :'(  Guess if it rattles my teeth, I can just take em out and put em in my pocket. ;D  DP

Yeah I just picked up 2 45-70s cause I knew once my kid shot one he would want one

 I would have done that, but my boy still lives here and I hold the keys to the safe ;) So when he is at school I can still shoot it ;D Plus I had plans for a .357 max when I bought the .44, so he gave me an excuse ;)

Well the thing shoots pretty good and just for kicks after i got it sighted in I tried some loads with trail boss and out to about 25 yards they hit close enough to be useable.I am happy with it, now I need a 45/70.
