buddy has one. Its a great gun and if money wasnt so tight id have one myself. Its everything a 500 linebaugh is in power.

I guess my question is what is your question? Pretty broad question for sure. I have shot a buddies enough to know it is a mighty impressive gun that can do anything, anywhere, and revolver is needed in the field.

I have one of the first two retro fits to leave the factory, and took the first game taken with the cartridge - a N.C. wild boar. I later added another, and have a third being built now. It's a great cartridge, on a par with the .475 and .500 L's, and .500 JRH. I've taken game as heavy as bison with it easily.

I use only two, both published by FA as Hodgdon data:
1. 350 gr. Hornady XTP, 31 gr. H-110, Fed. 210 = 1350 fps from 6"
2. 370 gr. Cast Performance WFNGC, 33 gr. H-110, Fed. 210 = 1400 fps from 6"
Many others were tried before I settled on these two.

Ken ONeill, have you actually clocked either or just posting from their literature? Please post your accuracy results with these loads?

Those are chronographed velocities. Both will run 1- 1 1/4" @ 25 yds.
