Encore and scope mount help needed..

Hey,

I am planning on installing a Bushnell Banner 6-18x50 scope onto a T/C pro hunter barrel. Does anyone know if a medium height ring is tall enough to clear the objective lens off the barrel? I thought I had some med and high rings around here to size up, but it appears I am out!

Anyone got this setup already? pics? Any advice is appreciated before I go out and purchase some rings.

You should be able to go to any of the ring mfg. websites and find that info, I believe med. hgt rings are only good up to 40mm IIRC.

not true I just mounted a ziess 3x9x50 with talley med. one piece encore mount with outstanding results!!!

Contour of the barrel may have a lot to do with the height of the rings

The higher rings make it easier to access the hammer with your thumb, I had this problem with medium rings.
