Variations on a theme

Here is my version of a truck gun.  357 Maxi,  ejector.ATI stock.  18 1/8 inch barrel,29 7/8 inches long when collasped,  weighs 7 pounds  9 oz.I haven't go any Maxi loaded yet so she is loaded with heavy 357.    Doug

I have a 22Hornet set up the same way but with a 16 1/4" barrel

Very nice set-up Doug.  Is that a Simmons 8-Point 2.5 scope?  Looks like it.  If you want, I've got some 357 Max cases I'll loan ya till you get some.  DP

Big Blue, it is a Simmons 2 1/2 x 20 shotgun scope.  I have them on three rifles now and have a spare for a project.  hth     Doug

I love the low power fixed scopes. Usually as much power as you'll ever need, lighter and handier. I'll have to keep them in mind.

Short range session. Not for accuracy but for function. It went bang every time I pulled the trigger and ejected "with authority", accuracy was minute of small rock and broken clay pigeon.Great job, Tim.  ;D    Doug

Excellent!!  ;D I put one of my custom ejector improvements in it, a short machine screw that helps keeps the spring straight while the head works to add spring tension like the BB trick. Glad it worked good for ya Doug, just don't put yer eye out!!!  :o :D
