Wreckdog, pedophiles are everywhere that kids are not just in the Catholic Curch. Satan is using everything at his disposal to destroy all Christians so it stands to reason he would use a man of the cloth to do his bidding. We humans are weak and sinful so with some of us it is easy for satan to lure us away from God. It is so sad that people that are put in a position of trust destroy the lives of innocent children. Would you agree that pedophiles are more heavily represented among Catholic priests than just about any other group that you can think of. And that for centuries, high ranking members of the Catholic church have supported these pedophiles within their ranks in various ways? So a priest visits the prison to recruit members. Don't you think that the pedophiles would be happy to find a sympathetic ear with which to share experiences? I don't believe that Islam has a equivalent level of support for pedophiles. Or Jews. The Mormons took a very aggressive approach against them, which is somewhat bizzare considering their approach to marriage. Though there are always individual exceptions in any religion. Why then, has the Catholic church systematically supported pedophiles for a very long time? All the way to Rome.

I believe that they go to prisons because they know that the majority of prisoners aren't as smart,generally lazy, want the easy way out. Easier to convince them. gypsyman

I believe that the media is very hostile to the Church and it makes it seem like they are the most represented among all pedophiles. I also believe that pedophiles are probably more prevelant in islam because of their culture of women being property and not full and equal humans. Most people do whatever they want with their property so it stands to reason that they would do the same with their females. I will agree that the Church covering up the crimes of these sickos is just as bad as the crime committed against the children in their care. We always see every day that the media gives islam a pass on so many things. If the media wants to destroy something they will do it at the drop of a hat. Steve

I'm muslim countries they don't keep track of pedophiles. Olm mohammed was a pedophile he had sex with a 9 year old girl named Aeisha. To them it is acceptable because their prophet showed them the way.

Also and I am sure many others that have been to a muslim country can attest. They have a saying there "women are for babys, boys are for pleasure". Sick bunch of animals from every perspective. The world will be a better place without them.

Those in prison generally have no God or any religious beliefs at all. They are  easily swayed by a good talker and many desperately feel the need to believe in something or somebody. They feel the need to be loved and that somebody actually cares. Why islam and not Christians??? There are few Christians in prison, so their conversion into satans hatred and death cult Is fairly easy. The less educated they are the easier the conversion.
Several years ago during a trial against a priest in Lou Kentucky more than  one priest testified that the reason they became priests was because they were pedophiles. They said they knew that the church would lie for them and they would never be charged with a crime, they had seen it go on for many years. Thousands of lives around the world have been ruined by these perverts. Since those trials  there have been almost no new charges against priests, in fact I read where in some areas there is a shortage of priests and parishes are being shut down. For every bad priest I'm sure there are many thousands of good ones.
Pedophilia and islam??? They still marry little girls. Their mohamed was probably the worst pedophile in history. He married a girl at 7 years of age, yep, SEVEN years old. He waited til she was almost an old maid to consummate the marriage at 9 years old. Must have been a real exciting night, uhhh, for him anyway. At 9 she had none of the characteristics of a woman, especially back then. Yep, and this is the Godless ones hero.
