Lube that is stickier than gorilla snot?

I need some lube for a semi-auto that won't fling off under cycling. The lube spray on my optical sight is driving me nuts.

Wal Rudy I have no experience with gorilla snot but why not try STP. It sticks about as well as anything I've run across.

Shooters Choice Hi-tech grease is a good lube for 1911's, and other auto pistols, in my experience.  Like any other lube, use it in moderation to prevent any sloppy mess and unwanted excess. This lube has prevented any galling in several stainless firearms I own.

I have been using it on all my Autos, shotguns, and my re-loading presses, the stuff works great.

i'm wonderin if the issue isn't as much, what will stick, as what will perform with minimual amounts which does not lead to slinging. i post this as a results of recent slinging in my life as a results of over use. :roll:

try slip 2000-it won't shoot off and is great for metal to metal contact.

Tetra Gun grease is a well made product , I used it in my Kimber Custom 11, and will be using it my Ruger P90.
It only takes a dab here and there it floats it self out making a film, and it does not fling.

I was using Break Free lube at Camp Perry on my Bullseye pistol and was having some trouble with fouling and a jam every once in a while. I was given some Tetragun grease buy a Marine shooter next to me.  Cleaned my pistol, applied the Tetragun grease. I could tell an immediate difference while cycling the action. I shot the remainder of the match with no problems. I went to the vendors row after the match, bought the grease and Gun Cleaning Pack. Use it on my .22 Autos, .45's, 9's and Semi Auto High Power rifles now. If the Garand won't burn it off or jam with it, it is worth it. I'm sold on it. Been using for several years.
