summer soup

My summer soup recipe. 1 zuchini-diced, 1 yellow summer squash diced, 1 onion diced, 1 qt stewed tomatoes (my own), 1 pound kabaska or polish sausage - diced, 2 potatoes - diced, 1 qt chicken broth, salt and pepper. Let it simmer for 45 min or so. Get some nice crusty bread and a nice lemonaid. Can't wait till summer.

Do you brown the kielbasa, and sweat the veggies some first?  I've found that really helps bring out flavors.   And don't forget the cabbage and garlic.

And then, the next day, when you don't have quite enough for dinner, why, just add more of whatever you have and you have another meal.
