Bushnell 3200- 5X15 AO scope?
« on: March 11, 2010, 05:41:36 PM »
I need a scope for my .223 rifle. I bought an Atec 4.4 X 14 with the side focus but it won't focus past 50 yards, so it's headed back to Bushnell, even though it's a Simmons. I would really like a Leupold VXII 4X12 AO but can't swing it right now. I found a 5X15 Bushnell 3200 with AO that looks good but am wondering about the eye relief. Does it change a lot from 5 power to 15 power. This is the best quality of a Leupold IMO, the eye relief is not critical. I have a Weaver 4X16 with AO on it right now but the eye relief is a little to critical. Thanks for any help, Don

Nope not a lot. It's not constant but it is close enough it won't be a problem. I do like the 7-21 E3200 a lot more tho.

Why are you sending a Simmons to Bushnell? I've not heard anything of Bushnell taking them over.

Yep, when I called, they said send to Bushnell outdoor products. You don't know who owns who anymore :-\. The 7X21 might be a little to much on the low end for what I'm using it for. Thanks,Don
