Found something interesting the other day when my new M158 Jet arrived .I have been doing some look see on loads and history for this round. One thing I found was a .221 bore when I slugged it so I also slugged my old M157 22 Hornet it also slugged @.221 both barrels are 1-16" twist.I had known about using the .223 bullets instead of the .224 but I have been using .224's in my Hornet and was getting 1 1/2 -2" group @100 yrds so I was not to concerned . What I did not know was that Hornady makes a 40gr Flat point in.222 for the Jet #2210 can't find any yet in stock but I assume the flat points are mostly for the Model53 S&W revolver. Anybody shoot these 2210's out of the rifle? Also who else if anybody makes a .222 Jacketed bullet? These bullets may be the key to me being able to put clover leafs togeather. This spring may be a lot of fun trying to put some loads togeather for both these older calibers and twists but using modern powders. What I think I will try is to just make these shoot one hole@50 yards. I got the Jet brass and plenty of Hornet brass also found the Rem6 1/2 primers now all I need are some .222 bullets and sunshine. Kurt

Grafts list them..
http://www.grafs.com/product/260261
but are out of stock..You can always contact them or Hornady themselves and see if they have some available..sometimes they do but don't list everything

Kurt,
I remember seeing some of these .222 bullets at a local shop, but haven't looked at that shelf in the last few months. If you can't find any, drop me a note; meanwhile, I'll look specifically next time I'm in there.
