I'm in the hospital. Bi-lateral pneumonia.

Gonna be here awhile.

Not sure if I'll get to check in again, this ISP blocks almost everything.

i'm home.

it's going to be an uphill battle, but i have made some progress. i can stand upright wih a walker, but only if i have help getting up.

i'll update again when i can, using the computer takes a lot out of me.

It's nothing to mess with, that's for dang sure!

I had initial stages of that when I was at JRTC at Ft Polk on active duty in 2000, never felt that sick before in my life, got really worried I was going to suffocate at one point. Got crummy medical care and they tried to get me to go to the maneuver box for two weeks with it anyway. I told them to stuff it and focused on getting well. That was the moment I decided I was going to leave active duty.
Look out for #1, keep focused on the truly important things, this forum and all the other cool stuff will still be waiting for you!

i forgot to mention i also have been diagnosed with full-blown diabetes.

whether it was brought on by the illness, or i had it and didn't know it, i don't know.

My arms and legs are getting stronger, but it's slow coming.

that aint fun , but it isnt as bad either as you think .
I got diabetes 5-6 years ago
you just need to think a little more about what you put in your mouth and try to avoid as much sugar as possible , its actually easier then you believe

I take insulin shots 4 times a day
breakfast , lunch , dinner and evening

after a while when you learned your new routines you dont even think about it

I was first diagnosed in 1988 as a type II. I have been on insulin for 14 years.

hopr that you vill agree with me that it isnt that difficult when you get used to it
but I had some problems as I in all my life have beeb a milk and juice drinhing man
before I got my diagnose I drink 1 gallon n´milk and 1 gallon orange juice every day
now I drink mostly water instead . or lighgt beer
but sometime it will be some homemad brew, cide or wine
I dont drink much about it , but I make a lot of it
its the same with this as anything else , theree is alvays lots og people who want sahare from it when its fininshed
but ok diabetes is an deadly dicease if you dont take care about it
but its relatively easy to take care about

This ain't pretty, but here it is...

If you've seen me in pics or videos here, you know I'm not that heavy. I'm bloated.

So bad that my wife had to go buy me a pair of pants and shoes so I'd have clothes to wear to my appointmets. The pants are 4" larger in the waist, and the shoes are 13W (I wear a 10½). I had some shirts that were 'too big', not anymore.

Sorry about the off-topic hardware there, my wife wanted to get a pic of me while I was up in the chair. I was taking the SureFire light off the carbine. I'm going to take out the batteries and store it away.

There are cannons and mortars in the next, room, I swear!

I don't know Terry!! Sick people and AR's are not allowed here....you need to correct both situations...I believe I read it in some really old literature some where that messing with cannons will make you feel better...try it, who knows it might make you feel better...that's what we are all pulling for!!!
