Gun show this comming weekend

  Ok guys and dolls, the Indy 1500 gun and knife show is this weekend  19 20 21  Fri.2p to 8p, Sat 8a to 6p, and Sun. 9a to 4p I`ll be there Sat trying to wrangle a deal on my  marlin 336 .35 rem. for a T/C frame and wood. Who alls goin?   Gary

 I would like to. That should be a good show. Momma locked the piggy bank. Saving for a Florida trip this spring. I guess on the bright side, we will be on the beach

I`m gonna have to quit going, I`ve brought hame a new toy from the last 5. I have to start ducking as soon as I get home and walk in the door.   nahh the wifes not that bad. I found my way around the grumbling, I go and trade now. I`ve been layed off almost a year and back when I was working it didn`t bother her. So now if I want something new I have to wheel and deal with the trading stock. The thing is my trading stock is getting low, some of the things I`ve traded for I don`t want to get rid of....   Gary

I love the show, but, I hate the crowd. If you go you'd better get there early. The last show I got there at 8 am and made through about half the show before the place was packed. shoulder to shoulder butt to butt by about 10:00-10:30.

When you go look for Steve's Guns. He's a small dealer from around Rockville. If you see him tell'em Scott says hi from Louisiana! When I lived up there I worked the shows with him in Indy. That's something I miss. Ya'll have fun.

  I might go, haven't decided yet. I need a a good scope that can withstand heavy recoil. I went to the last one and ended up getting reloading supplies. I really don't care for the over crowding too much, so many people.......

   Well I got something for the fall fireams season. I ended up with a brand new Stainless Rossi M92 44 mangleum 20" barrel. I traded my marlin 336 and a Yogo M48 barreled action (barrel was a sewer pipe) It seems to have a pretty light smooth trigger pull to it and the lever runs smooth and easy. I got a box of 230gr lead SWC paper punchers to try it out with, just to get it on the paper and close for now. I`ll get some good jacketed shells for it later before Bambi season. Any suggestions on what to use would be helpful. I don`t know anything about using pistol caliber rifles so a quick tutorial would also be helpful  like best effctive range, max range, I guess just general info.... Thanks, Gary
