Glock 20C
« on: March 16, 2010, 06:38:36 PM »
Was wondering what would be a fair price to ask for my glock 20c with fixed sights.I bought it 2 yrs ago and has only had 30 rds thru it.I'd like to sell it to somebody who would use it.My other option would be to sell it at Gander Mountain and take a bigger loss.I plan on using the money to get a T/C G2 contender to hunt with here in NY.

Take a look at the auction sites and see what they are bringing.  That will get you in the ballpark.  Check local gun stores for similar guns and see what they are asking.  Gun values tend to float quite a bit by region.

Guns are selling well now, and prices are up.  You may comeout pretty well selling your Glock.

YEP. I was gonna suggest an auction site if you wanted to go the FFL route. Might be better than a loss at GM.

Most gun shops around here give 2/3 value or close to it on a trade in . Note that is the gun as it is not a new like gun . If say Gander would give you 200 then 300 would be a good starting point ( value stated for example only) . Here Glocks like yours would be in the 500-550 range top and some go as low as 480 or less as 10mm's are hard to resell for some reason. That's used in a gun shop .
