I shot a deer way way back in the early 70's . Shot it with buck shot #1's most likely. Was using my bird gun and had buck fever . The deer dropped on the third shot at 20 yards . Yea bad case of BF. Anyway my dad and I drag it to and place it in my uncles truck. We are all standing around looking at it and talking when the deer jumps up and out the truck and starts running across the field. Another uncle has his gun and shoots it . Now that most of them old guys have passed on i don't hear about it as much. Later we could see a hard hit on the forehead but nothing else from my shooting.
