scope adjustment?

would a 3x9x32 rifle scope have less adjustment in the dials than a 3x9x40? if they are both 1/4" @ 100 yards?

Maybe, maybe not. If you are talking Leupold in both cases then I think the answer is yes. Amount of adjustment varies brand to brand so ya really gotta talk two of same brand for a proper comparison.
