For higher elevations I like my S&W 657 MG, but I carry the S&W 315 NG for everyday desert scrounging. These 2 revolvers make me really happy!

I carry a S&W 625 4". haven't found anything that will take 6 rounds of 45 ACP and walk away. Works great in a shoulder rig with speed strips.    :) :)

S&W 686 four inch barrel w/ stock iron sights, Hogue round butt grips and lanyard ring.

Load: 185 Beartooth WFN (.28" meplat), loaded to 1100 fps with 1cc of H4227
(.28 is the same size meplat as the original Keith 250 gr. .44 SWC)

The penetration and tissue destruction of this bullet combine with moderate recoil to make this load easy to work in fast-accurate DA fire, ( I seldom shoot single action). With this load, my 686 is my go to sidearm for bowling pin shoots, hogs, whitetail, general woods and canoe carry (with lanyard).

Ruger Security Six 4".  While I have owned many in the past, this is the only 'modern' revolver I currently own.

My absolute do all revolver would have to be my S&W Model 13-1. If I had one chance to make a shot it would be what I would grab of everything I own.

I carry my ruger redhawk 5 1/2" barreled 44mag in stainless.  (spring to fall).  In the colder weather the bigger shoulder holster goes on with the ruger redhawk in 44mag, 7 1/2" barrel in stainless.  With my shirt out of my pants it covers the longer shoulder holster and barrels. I carried the 44's on my motorcycle at night too.  Right now my redhawk 5 1/2" 44 is with me most of the time with two speed loaders. I also carry a CZ82 in 9mm mak too its backup.

+1 on what Dee said. Had a 19-3 that I got rid of and have regretted it ever since. I have two left and they will probably go in the casket with me.

Yep 20 years ago I got a 66 w/ 2.5 bbl. it was a court security trade in . Came with a nice action job, holster and 2-speed loader holders all in really nice leather . It was very accurate with its 4lb trigger that most would swear was 2 lb with no take up to mention or over travel to notice . It broke like the icecicle as they say. Friend had to have it !
If ya can see it ya can hit it !

I've owned 3 or 4 19's over the years.  I still have two including the first one i ever bought, it's also the second handgun i ever bought.  I will never get rid of the two 19's that i still have, ones a 44, the other is a 357...

Only own a few revolvers (more of a semi-auto person), but when I do shoot them, I really do prefer my S&W Model 64 over my others.  It's an old police surplus marked Pittsburg Police. Feels great in the hand, points very naturally, and is very accurate.  I do admit too that it's easier to keep track of the brass for this than my autos :).

At work I normally carry a S&W 340PD with Federal 38spl+P hollowpoints. If I'm just knocking around many times it will be a Dan Wesson 715-2 357 magnum with a 2.5" barrel. 125gr 357 hollowpoints. I like the extra round and the shootability of this gun.

I have a pair of these, but no photos together.  629-1, 3" barrels.  They are run at about "medium," not full patch magnum loads.  I find them very handy and rather conveniently sized for their power potential.

These two seem to do the trick, and all work was done by yours truly. Slick and clean, with ISWB holsters.

All Us Old Timers might want to remember one thing about suspenders. my doctor told me to use them due to back problems when I was carrying anything heavy on my hips (tool pouches, large firearms on the belt, battleaxe's and etc.) but to make sure that my belt was loosened at least one or more notches after I had eaten. Can you guess why? ;) When Mother Nature calls with Her bugle you sure don't want that buckle to be so tight as to be hard to undo. :o  with a loose hook up, it'll unlatch fast while the suspenders will hold your pants and firearm in place until you let them down after your butt is properly indexed to the porcelain forcing cone:))   ::) failure to do this can result in a crappy situation. :-[ Wise words were never better spoken by the medical profession!!!!!!! God Bless to all.

S&W Model 25 Mountain Gun in 45 Colt. Have two that have actions slicked up, trigger jobs, and custom grips. Best darned shooting revolvers I have ever used. 250 grain lead bullets at about 950 fps and so accurate you'd say I was fibbing if I showed ya a target.

Defensive use, It would have to be my 2 3/4" Ruger Speed Six 357 Mag...

For hunting while still a revolver, mine are all Single Actions...  ::)

7.5" Stainless RedHawk. Rugged/powerfull/accurate enough for anything, and not so expensive as to prevent it from being there when I need it!!  ;D
