Former Judge Roy Moore

I am sure everyone here knows the recent states rights battle we had here in Alabama. Reguardless of your stand on the 10 Commandments, this should be a state issue. We of Alabama elected Judge Moore because we knew the stand he took on the 10 Commandments and his strong Christian values. The 1st ammendment says that congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion. Judge Moore was a state judge, not a federal judge, freely giving him the right as an elected state official to do what he did. There are many religions that use the Holy Bible so this does not etablish a certain type of religion even if he happened to be a federal judge. The second part says the federal government cannot prohibit the free exercise thereof. This is clearly what Myron Thompson, the federal district judge in the case, did. This is an example of the federal government trampling on our rights given to us by the bill of rights. This is not going to stop here you can bet. As long as "We the People" do not stand up and be heard, we will gradually lose all of our rights. New York has laws to restrict handgun ownership to American Citizens. Who knows, a federal judge somewhere may decide the States no longer have the right to keep and bear arms.
If you can earn it, why did He have to die?
