Iffen it's voluntary I choose not to volunteer. Dat Reid guy is one serious dumbass how can he say it's voluntary when they will put your butt in jail if ya don't pay?

What's bad is he continued to insist on the voluntary term even after he was called on it.  I could understand a slip of the tongue - we all say things that we didn't think through that can be taken out of context, but when called on it most people realize their mistake and admit it.  This idiot kept insisting taxes were voluntary after being correct 3+ times.

I had seen this a while ago, and hope that all the people that voted for this clown have seen it. Of coarse the people that voted for him probably believe everything Harry the clown believes.

Do you really think Reid believes what he is saying, or is he just saying this because he knows his constituents are to dumb to know any better? Whoever voted this guy in office deserves every bit of him.

Dare I say .... Harry Reid will be terminated at the polls this November.  I suspect he may take the opportunity to retire to avoid the embarassment.  He is a long term scum, uh, Senator, he made Senate Majority Leader when Tom Daschle was fired in South Dakota a few years back, and his approval ratings are pathetic in a state that used to support him big time.  There are many home made signs on lawns around here with some rude and crude comments toward the scumbag, most of whom voted for him in the past.  He used to be a moderate but when he handed over his spine a few years back he got very twisted and out of line.  This Saturday there is TEA party in his home town of Searchlight, Nevada.  I am hoping to be there, just trying to decide how rude of a sign I want to carry.  I am willing to make one in real poor taste, but if my photo hits the news I don't want backlash at work the next week because we Police Officers are supposed to be professional and courtious even off duty.   ::)

(I admit to voting for him when I first moved here, but when he started changing a couple elections ago I began voting against him.)

Hey, Harry thinks all us common people are stupid. Also he's a politician. Lying is their stock in trade.

I can't imagine someone stupid enough to pay a "vountary" tax.  ::)

When you're heading into Searlight, don't blink, or you'll miss it.  I have to wonder if there's anyone who lives there that actually will claim that stinking bag of excrement.  Does he have the nerve to ever show up there?  On the other hand, I wouldn't be at all surprised if he owns the whole place.

Taxes are voluntary if you're a democrat operative. You don't have to pay unless they check your background and find out you haven't , then you still have the choice. You can say you made a mistake and pay up and get your new job, or you can just withdraw your name from consideration. that is the real reason Obama is having trouble filling his cabinet
