Stainless handi's available??

Trying to find a stainless Handi somewhere??  Anyone seen any??

I've never seen a stainless one. Have seen some factory nickle ones that look like satin stainless. Me not seeing one doesn't mean that there aren't some around.

To be clear, mine has a stainless barrel mounted to a nickle receiver.

Oops, just put a magnet to my barrel and discovered it is magnetic.  So, I guess it is nickel plated.  Call me confused!  :o

The stainless used in rifle barrels will attract a magnet.

H&R(Marlin) uses 400 series stainless with magnetic properties for their SS barrels, all SS models except the 45-70 and 444 SS Ultra Hunter have matte nickel frames, only the two Ultra Hunters have SS frames and barrels.

They used to have stainless ones,I saw a stainless .223 in Bass pro several years ago that I should have purchased. :(

H&R stated that they would only be producing their most popular models subsequent to the move to Ilion, the SS models aren't included in the most popular offerings as can be seen by them dropping the SS barrels that don't sell well in the past couple years, and the only SS model listed in the 2010 catalog is the SS 45-70.  :-\

Give Whittaker Guns a call.  Last I was there they had the 45-70 and 444 Ultra hunter on the shelves as well as a synthetic/stainless 30-06.  Maybe a 270 as well, but I am less sure about that.
