CO2 empties out as soon as inserted
« on: March 28, 2010, 04:09:10 AM »
Crosman 454 Pistol - Stored a few years, new in box ...... CO2 empties out as soon as inserted.

The CO2 cartridges are old .............. I see no seal or rubber washer over the pin ?? Don't know ?

Maybe I just need to turn the screw that pushes cartridge into the pin faster ( Out of CO2 cartridges now ).

Any experience with this ?

Had a couple of air gun pistols that done this; by accident; I cocked one, then put in Co2, pierced it; and it was good to go. Don't know if this  will work for you, but it did for me.
