Question for Tikka T3 243 shooters?
« on: March 28, 2010, 03:05:58 PM »
I have been thinking of purchasing a 243 for the last 2 years and now I am more determined to do so. My question is that most guys I now that shoot a 243 use 90 to 100 grain bullets. Did anyone ever try 55 grain and achieve any accuracy from Tikka 243?

Never did try anything lower than the 75 grain vmax. But my 243 T3 is a tack driver with that bullet.

I have used a Sako .243 for West Texas deer and varmits for years, my load of choice is 31 grains of IMR 3031 toped off with a 100 grain Serria Boattail.  This is a tack driving load in my gun.
