03 springfield
« on: March 29, 2010, 07:22:21 AM »
I have an 03 Springfield I'm wanting to work up a load for, paper punching & possibly service rifle comp., and wondering if there are any '03 owners out there with experience with whether 150's or the heavier bullets shoot better with the 4 groove rifling. I've got W748, H4350, and H4895 on hand, which should work.
Thanks

some times as you know it is all up to the gun on what it likes.
I have one that will shoot 150's a remington 1903 and two that just refuse them, one even likes 190.s better than 180,s remington 1903 both are 1942 guns .
my 1918 springfield 1903 will shoot 180 and 190 but not 150.
all I can say is try them, and good luck and have fun with the old girl ;D
