I don't know why anyone would be surprised by the fact they switched and voted party lines. The republicans do the same thing. Both are party FIRST, and America if it suits their agenda at the time. Both parties are about power, not service to the people. When was the last time a Republican stepped up in the arena of pro-life? They claim to be pro life to get the vote, but it's a standard answer, and they never really do anything.
