Anyone hitting the water lately?

Supposed to be in the 80s the next few days. If I can get my lack of sleep issues worked out I might give it a try down at the pond. When I fed them a few days ago the catfish were really hungry. I kinda like to wait for the catalpa worms to use as bait tho and I'm at least a month away from that.

Well, thawed some bait last night, got up, and it was COLD this morning.  So I'm waiting a little bit.  The high today is almost 70, but I wasn't planning on 32 for a low this morning.  I'm not getting dressed in long johns and warm clothes to go hit the city lake.

Jumping in here a little late, but have been doing some jugline fishing in Waurika Lake, a Corp. lake in so. OK.
Wind has been awful this spring. We had good luck. One trip out netted 98 lbs of catfish. A 28 lb and 36 lb flathead, the rest blues.
I am just the boat driver. Go out with a friend that has the equipment. Lots of fun.

Went out in BIG TIMBER creek, Branch off the Delaware river. My honny hole is dry. I got one wisker Bass in two days fishing. Discouraged me enough to filet out some pearch and eat them. Need to find some cats soon. J.Michael
