I must admit that the diamond bits are easier to use. just drill a hole as close as possible next to the broken bit and grind from the open hole to the broken bit, go a little deeper into the new hole and repeat. But that carbide bit is just so,,, cool...   8)

sorry, no pix. Not much to see anyway... Just a lot of drilling and drilling and drilling. It was actually quite simple! Just easier said than done...

I should upload a pic of the water filled pop can I test fired at. It split the thing from top to bottom...  :o .50 sure does pack some punch!

Rock, I now have one vent and one plug, 180 degrees away from each other.
