Marlin model 49DL
« on: April 02, 2010, 07:07:25 PM »
Went to a crawfish boil today. My daughter's brother-in-law gave me a 22 rifle. Said he bought a house and found it in a closet there. He lives in Austin Texas. It is a model 49DL Marlin. I have never seen one. He said that when he trys to put round in chamber that 2 bullets come up and jams it. Anyone know anything about these rifles?  I will try to call Marlin  Monday. Any  help will be appreciated!

It's been a long time since I had one. Best I can remember they were made in the late 70's for just a few years. Basically a model 60 tube feed with a 2 piece stock.
