Major fake for too many reasons to list but as a starter early on there were two or more areas showing darkness at same time. Additionally that ain't an nail gun at all he is holding and those nails at the end are the kind you use a hammer with NOT a nail gun. Just more internet BS so what's new.

Definitely fake.  But, that is a nail gun.  It's a roofing nailer and the nails in the board are collated coil roofing nails.  There are a bunch of videos of these same guys on the Internet doing a bunch of things on job sites with tools and tape measures that make you go "wow" until about 20 seconds in and you realize its fake.

I thought it was entertaining but you can tell right away it's fake. The nails appear way faster than he is pulling the trigger and the sound of the gun going off is also way faster than he is pulling the trigger. Also there is no way you can get perfect accuracy like that with a roofing gun. Also holding in the safety is not that easy, especially on a roofing or framing gun.

I just thougyht you guys woiuold get a kick out of it.

I like Dee's answer as well. ;D

coil nailers are designed to hold just enough to put down 1 bundle of 3 tab shingles and they are also bump nailers so you must bump the gun on shingle and hold trigger to get it to shoot that thing is fake all the way.

I have worked in a couple of cabinet shops, then after hours done home remodeling, light office remodeling.
I have used alot of nailers over the years, we almost always tied the safety back, they made it dangerous to use, as well as making it difficult to get into tight quarters.
Fake video of course, but has a certain coolfactor, I guess.

I worked in a shippind department years ago in calif. and we had a 16 nailer with no safty and one day one of the fellows was nailing up a crate the hose caught and he hit himself in the belley and shot a 16 in. he was a pretty heavy person and the Dr. said that was one time it payed to be fat, never went through the layer of fat and hit anything important, next day there was a safty installed.

horror storie are off topic but...

We had a crate builder that got in the habit of holding in the trigger on a framing gun and bouncing it. He knelt down and nailed his boot to his ankle with a 12 penny screw shank nail. We couldn't get anything under the head of the nail to pull it out because it had caused a depression in the leather of his boot. He went to the hospital and it didn't hit one bone, just cartillage.

When he came back to work I gave him a pair of shoelaces and said next time you want to put your boots on use these. ;D

Fake we have tried such and the nails cartwheel not fly stright . There is a power line a squrril ran across with several nails in it from the full load fired at it . he got away . But it was funny to watch. Later same guy was climbing a ladder ( now keep in mind this guy kept the safety on the outlet end wired back so all he had to do  to fire the gun was pull the trigger ) and as he stepped onto the roof of a house shot himself in the knee . It locked his knee . His "buddy" takes out his framming hammer and jerks the nail out and said climb down , i'll take ya to the doc in the box when i get to a stopping point , true story.
If ya can see it ya can hit it !

I was working in a cabinet shop, and a guy shot a finish nail through his thumb....  He was danceing around making all kinds of noises, so i walked over to see what happened.  The nail was all the way through, and he couldn't pull it out...  I finally grabbed the nail head with my teeth, and ripped it back through his thumb...  lol

He thanked me for doing that, and begged me not to tell anyone what had happened...  lol

BTW, I didn't see the vid, but i've held the safety back on the front of an air nailer, and shot it...  Did it all the time when i was a kid, working repairing pallets, as the fork lift drivers would throw stuff at us, and i'd shoot back with the nailer...

If you drive a nail through your hand your better off cutting the head of the nail and pulling it the rest of the way through.  There was a contractor doing some work on one of the hog builds of the farm my step-dad worked at that did that,  and he said it wasn't the first time either.
