Marlin 2000L at the range
« on: April 07, 2010, 03:39:52 PM »
Finally got out to shoot my project rifle. http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=289846
Distance was 100yds. Ammo was bulk Fed Automatch and Fed 550 Value Pack. Scope is a Shepherd 310-P22 LR. Wind calm to 5mph. Temp 65 degrees. Put a 6" spinner at 200yds and hit it four times out of five. At 300yds got close but missed ten times. Orange circles are 2".
Prairie dogs beware.

Went to the range again. Needed to get some rifles sighted in for a PD shoot. Only had time to shoot one 7 round group at 200yds. I can't believe how well this thing shoots! This group was shot using Fed Automatch. The Shepherd scope is right on at 100-150 and 200yds.
